Abyaz Abid returned Georgia Tech upon completing his time as Visiting Masters Student at Stanford University.
Abyaz Abid has started for Fall 2025; two courses onwards - AE 8803 & AE 6100.
May 2025:
Abyaz Abid got selected as Mechanical Engineering Mentee for one of the flagship Engineering Mentoring programs of USA - Forming Leaders in Technology (FLT), brought up by The Boeing Company.
Abyaz Abid will officially kick-off his tenure as Mechanical Engineering Mentee under Mr. John P. Lee in his Propulsion and Material Processing Section at The Boeing Company.
April 2025:
Abyaz Abid officially started working on Aeroelasticity and Aerodynamic Analysis of Turbine Blades under Controlled Pitching with Dr. Karthik Menon in his ComBiNE Fluid Dynamics Lab.
Abyaz Abid has joined ComBiNE Fluid Dynamics Lab at Georgia Tech. He will work with Dr. Karthik Menon (Mechanical Engineering School, Georgia Tech) at the intersection of Fluid Mechanics, Aerodynamics and Fluidic Energy Systems.
Abyaz Abid presented Final Project of ME 6103 deliverables.
March 2025:
Abyaz Abid has been accepted in Stanford University as a Visiting Masters Student for Stanford Summer Session 2025.
Abyaz Abid has started working towards investigating the Impact Analysis and Topological Optimization of his Mars Inspired Drone Project under ME 6103 course.
February 2025:
Abyaz Abid has started working under Dr. George A. Kardomateas (Aerospace Engineering School, Georgia Tech) officially as a Masters Candidate - at the intersection of Aero-Mechanics and Energy Systems.
Abyaz Abid officially bid farewell to Chemo-mechanics of Soft Materials Lab of Dr. Yuhang Hu (Mechanical Engineering School, Georgia Tech) - shifting his research focus from Soft Robotics and Smart Materials.
Abyaz Abid completed his Vibrational Analysis of Mars Inspired Drone Project.
January 2025:
Abyaz Abid has collaborated for a Mars Environment Inspired Quadcopter - Final project as partial fulfillment of ME 6103 course taught by Dr. Carolyn Conner Seepersad.
