Hi, I am Abyaz Abid - a Mechanical Engineering Masters Candidate at Georgia Institute of Technology. I hold a joint Graduate Research Appointment for Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering Schools at Georgia Tech, working at the intersection of Aero-mechanics, Fluid Mechanics and Energy Systems. Previously, I did my Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Islamic University of Technology (IUT) as Class of May, 2023. My research experience delineates accomplished numerical and experimental research projects across limited disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, such as - Heat Transfer, Computational Fluid Mechanics, Aerodynamics, Soft Materials, Failure Analysis and Additive Manufacturing. I am interested to explore and work on projects related to Aero-Maritime Mechanics and Dynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Aerodynamics, Aero-Aquatic Robotics, Flow Physics, Energy Systems with Ai and Computational Simulation during my tenure in Georgia Tech.
